June 7 – 23rd annual Bike to the Sea Day

The 23rd annual Bike to the Sea Day ride is on Sunday, June 7 at 8:30 a.m.

The Melrose Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee invites Melrosians to meet at 7:50 a.m. (leave promptly at 8:00 a.m.) at the corner of Main and East Foster for an informal bike convoy to the ride’s start at the Madeline English School, 105 Woodville St. in Everett. There’s a 14-mile roundtrip family ride and a 20-mile ride to Lynn/Nahant beach followed by lunch at the Dockside Restaurant on Centre Street in Malden. Comfortable pace, very family friendly. There are police escorts for the portions of the ride that are on the road.  Starting the ride in Melrose will add 3 miles to the ride on both ends.
